The Pain of Almost is a short film about the possibilities of a relationship, narrated over a montage of two best friends spending a day in LA.

The concept of this film stemmed from a poem sent to me by an internet friend in early 2019. She asked me to adapt it into a short film to which I responded “Yes” immediately. I combined footage from an LA Chronicles video with extraneous shots exclusive to this film. As we went about our afternoon in the city, I continuously filmed videos of the two main actors which resulted in two projects from the same day.
