The Meet-Cute is a film that explores the different ways in which two people can encounter each other for the first time. Whether by chance or by choice, it focuses on the beauty of the moment in which their paths intersect.

I directed this as part of my community college’s film program. We were tasked to create a 7-minute film and my script was chosen among the many from the class. Other people who worked on this film had to edit their versions of it, and I worked on the final cut. We shot it over two days, one focused on the hypothetical scenarios and the other being the final conversation scene.

This film was made in collaboration with Parker Green, a fellow Moorpark College alum who I met my first year. Since our initial encounter, we’ve worked on projects together both in and out of school, and I plan on including him in future work.
