Merry Little Christmas is a holiday short film written by Charli Masson. On Christmas Eve, Gus (Ian Peterson) reminisces on the winter night in college where he met the love of his life, Amelia (Iris Briceño). A flashback occurs of their encounter. Two perfect strangers (Finn MacKimmie & Izzy Kaplan) at a college house party.

An excerpt of the short film was released in December 2021. Filming of the present-day sequences was halted due to unforeseen circumstances, and the completed flashback scenes were used for the excerpt. I consider the final product to be the definitive version, with context and framework making sense of the events portrayed in the excerpt.
